I. Attendance - Officers: Mike Arnold, Shane Card, John Benazzi, Greg Farrell; Coach: Sean Peters.  

II. Adopted Minutes from Jan. 7th session  

III. Team Meeting/Exec Session on Monday, April 8, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at Highlands Rec. Center  

IV. Committee Reports:

A. Recruitment - Dan Tichy: Tabled (not present); Committee to send not to Chair asking him to do something.

B.  Public Relations - Matt Truta: Reports online and to PR outlets (Rpt. by Mike Arnold)

C.  Field Committee - Naz: Budd Bay at Thurston to root for THS rugby team; John to set rest of home schedule at later date.

D.  Match Scheduling: Sean Peters to contact Pigs

E.  Fundraising - John Benazzi, Mike Arnold: nothing knew. Mike to Contact Steelhead and Wild Duck; Peters to contact Trish (Peni) about hosting our Snack Stand at home matches.

F.  High School: Thurston won 22-0; Mike in contact with S. Eugene about 2003. Going to look for an Old Boy coach

G.  Website - Mike Arnold: T-shirts online.

H.  Social - Justin Burgin, Eric Pakulak: Neither present (report tabled); Mike suggested encorporated social fees into dues (rejected); Greg suggested 5th and Bertleson’s United Grocers. Budd Bay drinkup at Peters house (likely). Arnold sent thank you to Gambrinus. Justin is to contact them about home matches.

I.  Phone List - Karl Knoll: Not present. Peters to contact Karl about updating the phone list.

J. Equipment - Justin Burgin: Not present.  Justin needs to compile an itemized list of everything and who has it.  Sean will call Justin about cones. Naz has pads.

K. Jerseys - Shane Card: We have 21. Need a new set.

L. Historian - Bob Pierce: Nothing to report.

M. Dues Collection (Sergeant-at-Arms) - Karl Knoll: dues status (people still owe)

N. CIPP Coordinator - Shane Card: CIPP is being sent to USA by Card (with Check). He has kept copies.

O. Selectors - Sean Peters (Coach), Shane Card (Captain), John Benazzi (at-large back), Kevin Graham (at-large forward): working well.

P. T-shirts - Dan Tichy: Not present. Peters reported that fresh numbers are forthcoming.  Looks like we ordered 90 shirts @ $8 each.   We have around 55 left.  $325 collected.  $108 of Accounts Receivable.  We’ll need to collect $540 total.  Greg will purchase 3 shirts at $10 for coaches at women’s games. 

Q.  UO Liason - Sean Peters: We picked up some new ex-Ducks.  Sean working on more.

R.  Budget - Naz and Greg: Greg put together a great 2002 budget.  We’ll do a long-term in the fall.  

IV. Merchandise
1. Bumper Stickers (Tichy): Tabled until we sell all the shirts  

VI. Publicity - PSA: Heather Maahs of KVAL was our spokesperson in our team Public Service Announcement. Dayle Stewart of Community Television is producing it.  Finished product is forthcoming.  The PSA will air on ATT Broadband and Charter Communications.  We will think about how to thank them when the finished product is in (shirts, team photo, gift certificate, etc.)  

VII. New Business
- Coach Sean Peters proposed that he pays $0 in dues.  Motion withdrawn.  Committee agreed to assess only CIPP of $62.00.  
- ERFC 10’s Tourney: Arnold will reserve the pitch for the Eugene Celebration weekend (either Sheldon, Willamette or Thurston).  
- Duke Allen, coach of Thurston, will deposit dues into the ERFC account and then ERFC will pay Thurston’s dues.

1.  Call Pigs about spring match
2.  Contact Peni’s Trish about hosting Snack Stand at home games (with Pop, tape, powerbars, etc.)

4.  Get pads from Greg’s women.  

Mike Arnold: 1. Call Steelhead, Wild Duck.  2. Reserve pitch for Celebration tourney. 3.  Contact an Old Boy about S. Eugene Rugby.  4.  Many other assorted things
